Once you have the correct location of the pontoon you can apply adhesive in the 2x4 slot with liquid nail-power grab or use spray foam to attach. These particular pontoons measure 15.5" x 7" x 36" and will float approximately 130 lbs. each. This is a small round simple design that attaches right to the 2x4 bracing. These particular pontoons may be small but still support approximately 90 pounds each at 10-inch DIA. x 36-inch long. These can work great for a builder looking to do their own out rigger for a kayak or canoe. This pontoon in more of a special design that attaches to the 2x4 bracing at the top, but also has a slot incorporated in at the bottom for another 2x4 to stick out 1/2 inch to protect the bottom of the toon against damage. These particular pontoons will support approximately 115 pounds each at 7"x15.5"x 36-inch long. (it will have a little less buoyancy rating due to the extra weight of the extra 2x4). This pontoon was designed more toward a boat rather than a dock float. It attaches to the 2x4 bracing at the top but, there is some profile built in to cut thru the water a little easier without drag. (The builder will need to cut the front lead-in for maximum performance) These particular pontoons will support approximately 120 pounds each at 7"x16"x 36-inch long.
